At least three armed unarmed civilians were killed in an airstrike by the Kenyan air force in Gedo region, the latest in string of aerial bombing on Al Shabaab bases in southern Somalia.

Kenyan military jets struck El Gadud, a rural area near El Adde, where at least 100 KDF soldiers were killed in car bomb and gun attack on AMISOM base in the area by Al Shabaab last week.

Over the last few days, Hundreds of residents fled their homes due to the ongoing Kenyan airstrikes on Al Shabaab strongholds in Gedo region which lies near the Somalia border with Kenya.
