The Sudanese Air Force bombed a village in Tawila locality, North Darfur, today. The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces stationed in the area between Tabit and Shangil Tobaya since last week, were reinforced again on Saturday.

“An Antonov dropped 12 bombs near the village of Khor Mali, west of Tabit, early this morning,” a listener informed Radio Dabanga from Gadarib.

“No casualties were reported, but the bombs ignited fires in the area, and sparked fear and panic among the villagers, and the people living in the vicinity,” he said.

The source added that the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces stationed in the area between Tabit and Shangil Tobaya since last week, were reinforced again on Saturday. “Some 170 Land Cruisers and five armoured vehicles settled in the area between Dubo El Omda and Shangil Tobaya, near El Hilla El Jedida, Wadi Marra, and Arasho.”

Another force, composed of 70 cars and two armoured vehicles, arrived at the area of Terbo, south of Dubo El Omda this afternoon, according to the listener.
