Six Somali nationals are among the 48 migrants who died after explosion hit two minibuses they were traveling with in the outskirts of Sana’a, the capital of the republic of Yemen on Monday. 10 others were seriously hurt in the blasts.
The wounded migrants were admitted to the hospitals in Sana’a for treatment, some of them with light injuries were discharged after receiving routine health checks.
The real cause of the explosion is not known but rumors suggest that one of the buses hit a land mine.
The migrants were intending to eventually cross into the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
