At least two persons have been reported killed in bombing at a restaurant in Gedo regional district of Beled Hawo of southwestern Somalia on Saturday, Garowe Online reports.
Local reports say, the bomb in the restaurant went off shortly after crowds gathered for lunch as Somalis are observing the dawn-to-dusk fasting month of Ramadan.
More than five people were wounded in the blast, witnesses said. Most of the fatalities from the explosion were those who broke their fast with broad day light food.
As has been the case, Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group boosts rampage and deadly attacks during the Ramadan.
The militant group has not so far claimed credit for the latest attack. Al Shabaab lost a string of strategic towns in central and southern Somalia to allied forces.
